    It's very difficult not to bend to peer pressure especially when you are a teenager. The best advice I can give to anyone of any age is: go with your gut (your instincts), they will never lead you wrong. BTW- Your zucchini pancakes look wonderful, Joanne Lee.

    Ok but you didn't get Ghosted.... you rejected him profusely and he left as gracefully as he could since you clearly weren't interested in him... what was he supposed to do? Cling to you after you pushed him away 😂 Ffs if you got Ghosted you'd have likely been reliving that sad scene from 'Never been kissed' and you'd still be waiting on your porch.

      Ahh ok. When a 16 yo girl tells a boy she doesn’t want to lose her virginity to him, that’s a “rejection.” Got it.

      @lifewemmaclare Sex or no sex if a woman young or old says no he should respect that. Obviously his parent didn't explain to him about female saying no and to show respect and to honor her request.

    Great story. As a father of three young girls (all under 6) I'm already working really hard on teaching them the power of no. If someone cares about you they will respect your no.

    • @dee_dee_place
      @dee_dee_place 4 години тому

      Absolutely. Unfortunately, that includes your family. Not all families are "Father Knows Best" so it is very important to go with your gut (your instincts) & when it says, "NO", stand firm on it, no matter to whom you say that "NO".

    Honestly the guy was probably embarrassed 🤣 like ikkk in that moment it hurt you girl but he was so ashamed he couldn’t show his face so points to you!!! Also he was immature cause like he didn’t even have the maturity to stick around after a girl said no to him 🙄 def not a gentleman. You def did the right thing : )

    Love vegetable pancakes. I can eat 5 of them in one sitting esp with a variety of vegetables in it. Bitter melon, carrot, and onion is a good combo for a pancake!

    I kind of understand you. But, I was never aproach, maybe bcs I had self-esteem issues that I still try to manage to this day bcs of bullying....I am 23 year old and I never had a relationship and still have my V card. I am just afraid to get hurt, that I am not good enough and to just be tough:(

    • @thornback5641
      @thornback5641 9 годин тому

      Best life advice I can give you look for someone who compliments you not to complete you. When you get in that relationship remember its not you verses them when it comes to a problem- its you and them verses the problem. And finally we can't choose who we love only who's love we accept- and sometimes letting someone go is the best move if you love them. As for finding a partner you are much better through friend of a friend kinda situations then dating apps- dating apps are filled with alot of toxic people at this point. If you have a interest like bowling, camping, comics, video games or something and you can find a local group of such minded people its a good way to network for friends which the more friends you have the higher your potential for finding a partner. Also no shame in therapy if you want to give it a go, it may help you. But also you might have to go through a few therapists to find one who's a good fit with you if you go this route. Good luck young one!

      @availanila 8 годин тому

      Do you know low self esteem is considered a mental illness? If you can, get therapy and take little risks. I'm blind and the low confidence left me unable to wear make-up and put myself out there. Once I had a friend put makeup on me and I got so many compliments that this cruel woman I thought was a friend sabotaged me by putting awful makeup on me to look stupid and mismatched my jewelry in a stupid embarrassing way and I got warned specifically against her (she was so angry I kept saying she did me up this time). Put yourself out there; you'll have hits and misses but you'll most of all get that confidence or certainty on yourself. Like in Habakkuk 3:10 so all my efforts into my dream bore no fruit. What now? *No regrets now.*

    I'm white, like, Irish white. But my Mother grew up in Northern California and lived very close to the border, she's been in and out of Mexico and knew so many 1st gen Mexican immigrants, basically, Mexican culture is her culture. On New Years we always ate Tamales. I don't believe that it's actually a New Years food but the point I'm making is that people have traditions, bro it's so weird to be offended because someone did something special for a special event. I love your videos so much, I rotate watching them on different accounts but I watch everyone of them, I just wanted to let you know that. I love hearing the many different cultures, I can't imagine what these people think their acomplishing by trying to shut down anything slightly different.

    Guys I tell you we are living in a simulation!!! 😲 Today I was thinking why can't there be youtubers who make cuisine of let's say China, Korea and Japan by having vegetarian ingredients (yeah I know these are different ethnicity and different cuisine and culture 😊). Just as this short popped up I subscribed channel in less than 2 seconds. Hmm... but now I have to think about that simulation part. 👽🛸

    Vegan here, she is sorta right. I’ve been going strong for 7 years now. But the last couple of months I’m starting to just not care anymore. My cognitive dissonance is really bad right now because I understand the morality and nutrition benefits it has behind it. I know my real answer It’s due to my current career. It requires a lot from me at this moment and the people around me could care less and I’m around them 24/7 (fireman here). The post is getting long as it is but all you need to know is man I low key miss some of my old dishes. What makes me continue to be vegan is the health benefits it has given me. I just don’t know when I’ll break to be honest.
